The Bounce Infinity electric scooter will come with removable batteries technology allowing users to charge them as per their requirements. The company says he gives option customers will also have the option to purchase the scooter without the battery. This will lower the acquisition price for the customer since the battery can make up for about 40-50 percent of the electric scooter’s cost. the company gives customers benefits from the company’s swapping network India.
Bounce will plan to build its own battery-swapping network all over the country that will help retail and its ride-sharing business. Customers who opt for the battery swapping feature will be able to use it as a service wherein the customer rents a fully-charged battery whenever they require one. This, the company says he will reduce the running cost for the scooter.
The company’s upcoming scooter will be built at 22Motors’ Rajasthan-based facility in Bhiwadi in India. The plant has an annual production capacity of 180,000 scooters per year. The company also says that it second plans to set up another manufacturing facility in South India. Bounce also announced its plans to invest $100 million in the EV business over the next year.
