About ENERGICA EGO
The Energica Ego is a Fully propelled sports electric motorcycle designed and marketed by Energica Motor Company. All the pizza, power, and speed, and without the harmful environment. Sounds too good to be true. our need-for-speed friends like an Energica EGO+ & RS electric motorbike, give the best experience.
The best full-production electric sports bike available on the market today, the EGO+ / RS comes with a mammoth battery, gives an out-of-this-world range of 261 miles (420 km). that’s just shy of the mileage between New York and Washington. Thanks to the new EMCE motor for 2022, the already-impressive range has increased by 10%. Energica Ego Direct competes with Zero SRS.
Performance
The Energica Ego is powered by a permanent-magnet, single, air-cooled, the motor that produces 169 horsepower(126 kW @ 5,600) and 200 nm of torque. The motor is connected with a 13.4 and 21.5-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack that offers a claimed 420 kilometers (261 miles) of range in the city or 198 kilometers (123 miles) on the highway. The combined rating is 246 kilometers (153 miles).
Energica Ego has no gear or transmission and Energica Ego features a Chain direct rear-wheel final drive, bike offers quiet, maintenance-free operation. The Ego bike offers a variable regenerative braking system, and electric bike electronics also allow for user-manual selectable power options and torque levels, and many things.
The Ego reaches 0–60 miles in 3 seconds. The bike comes with a 43 mm Marzocchi suspension in front along with parking assist and Brembo brakes with features such as ABS and anti-rollover systems.
bike suspension is softly calibrated. It has a controller named a “VCU” by Energica, similar to an ESC. the company claimed to be controlling all Features – from the battery to the engine, engine braking by Energica.
Brakes
Energica Ego uses Marzocchi Suspension and uses the 43-millimeter Big Piston fork, which offers to the bike full adjustability for rebound and compression. It also has a 40-millimeter adjustable Bitubo Rear Mono Shock at the rear side.
The Ego’s brakes come from a relatively Standard company in the Brembo. After the dual, cleverly mounted, four-piston calipers up front do a very clever work of clamping down on the 320-millimeter discs, mainly when used in combination with the bike’s regenerative brakes. The rear brake is a single-piston and clamps a 240-millimeter disk. Brembo ABS is standard on the front and rear sides.
The power train is perfectly distributed, resulting in a weight-optimized/mass-centralized design, while a dual radial front brake system makes shedding speed as exhilarating as building it.
Body
Inspired by cutting-edge design, the look of the Ego is rooted in its aerodynamic fairing. Like all things Energica Ego, form follows function. The bike’s hardware is primarily made up of top-shelf parts. The machine’s chassis, sub-frame, and single-sided swing-arm are supposedly a first for a made locally. Built on an aluminum frame, the bike rides on 43mm USD front forks and a gas-charged mono-shock unit at the rear of the bike. It comes to a halt using 320mm dual-disc brakes on the front side and a single 240mm disc at the rear side.
The bike also features a dual-channel ABS system and regenerative braking as a standard all-production model. The 17-inch wheels come wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso III radial tires 120-section at the front and 180-section at the rear side.
Battery
Energica Ego 18.9kWh and Energica Ego +/ RS 21.5 kWh lithium-ion battery make the e-bike capable of a 261-mile (420 kilometers) maximum range. The Ego battery’s industry-leading power and energy density combined with an aluminum heat-sink housing and thermal transfer interface ensure consistent cell cooling and maximum long-term power train performance. software upgrades are available on the bike.
Charging
Energica Ego 21.5 kWh Li-ion, (liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery) modular battery pack with integrated high-power SDI cells. In addition to offering a claimed city range of just under 420 kilometers, and a highway range of 180 to 198 kilometers at 120 Km per hour, the Ego battery pack can be 80 percent charged in just 40 minutes when using a DC- charger, or it takes 8 hours to fully charge on a standard US power supply of 120 V. The battery life is 1200 cycles at 80% capacity. The battery also comes with a Three-year warranty
The vehicle can be configured to autonomously stop the charge at a certain level. The user can configure this function through the dashboard.
