About Komaki Ranger electric cruiser
The first Cruiser product of the indigenous company Komaki Motors is called ‘Ranger’. It is a cruiser category motorcycle whose performance, the company talks, the bike can match that of today’s conventional 200-250cc cruiser bikes. The special thing about the Ranger is the fact that it is an electric motorcycle – the first electric cruiser in the Indian market. Bike styling is appealing, and all-LED lighting boosts looks while consuming less power from the battery.
Komaki Ranger is best suited to Daily rides on your favorite roads. The Ranger Cruiser became India’s fastest production electric Cruiser motorcycle. Komaki Ranger has come with a Bluetooth sound system, cruise control feature, anti-theft lock system, side stand sensor, dual storage box, and a dual passenger footrest.
Performance
The Komaki Ranger claims it can accelerate from 0-100kmph in just under 7 seconds and is capable of achieving a top speed of 120km/h. The Ranger is powered by a liquid-cooled AC induction motor linked to a 4kW lithium-ion battery pack from a Samsung cell. The electric motor generates hp of peak power and maximum torque. This power gets to the rear wheel via a bike belt drive. One park/walk assists function which allows the bike to move forward or backward at 3kp/h at the push of a button. Ranger comes with standard Cruise Control.
Komaki Ranger comes equipped with a CBS double disc braking system that monitors the front and rear wheels at a frequency of 200 times per second to prevent an imminent wheel lock. this device balances the performance and safety of the bike in all riding situations.
Digital Speedometer
The electric Komaki Ranger two-wheeler .all the high-tech bells and whistles one would expect on a modern electric bike. The Ranger boasts a number of tech features like a GPS navigation system with a Digital Speedometer, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and real-time vehicle diagnostics. Bike system software enables it to receive over-the-air updates, full LED lighting throughout, and a Komaki app that allows users to access the function. The bike is on offer with a mobile app for remote customization and bike-to-bike connectivity.
Body
The Komaki hardware is primarily made up of top-quality parts. The machine’s chassis, sub-frame, and single-sided swing-arm are supposedly a first for a made locally. Built on an aluminum frame, the bike rides on Hydraulic Telescopic Suspension front forks and a mono-shock unit at the rear of the bike. It comes to a halt using 240mm Single-disc brakes at the front side and a single 180mm disc at the rear side. The bike also features a dual-channel ABS system and regenerative braking as a standard all-production model. The 17-inch wheels come wrapped in radial tires 90-section at the front and 130-section at the rear side.
At the rear of the electric cruiser, the bike gets a protection guard, rear tail lamp, and rear backrest as well. Komaki Ranger 4kW Li-ion modular battery pack with integrated high-power SDI cells. In addition to offering a claimed city range of just under 220 kilometers, and a highway range of 90 to 150 kilometers at 80 Km per hour, the Ranger battery pack can be 80 percent charged in just 40minutes when using a DC-WARP Charger, or three and half hours from a regular 15A home wall charger. The battery also comes with a five-year warranty.
Mileage
Ranger offers a battery size is of 4 kW. The battery pack will provide a longer driving range. A larger, long-range battery is EPA-rated at up to 220 kilometers. Along with this operating voltage of 80 volts, Komaki says the Ranger battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in under 40 minutes when fast charging into a fast charger. This same setup is also said to add 80 kilometers in less than 15 minutes. The 11-kW onboard home charger is expected to charge the battery from 10 to 100 percent in 3.5 hours
