About ZERO SRS
The Zero SRS is a sport-touring version of the SR/F offering full-fairings, sitting on top of their 2022 lineups as the second most expensive motorcycle company offer. the American-based EV motorcycle manufacturer company also produces many other models like SR F, SR, FXE, FXS, etc
Manufacturing a dedicated sport-touring bike on an EV motorcycle platform many difficult due to limitations of range, battery capacities, and charging. but now Zero finds out a way to make it possible.
For a long time, electric bike manufacturers like Zero made electric machines but only OK bikes, that product doesn’t compete with petrol-engine bikes in outright performance, but now that’s slowly changing. Incredibly light, unbelievably strong, and custom swingarm, steel-trellis frame, and advanced Showa suspension deliver an athletic and intuitive riding experience. Zero SRS direct compaction with Lightning LS 218, Harley-Davidson LiveWire, and many more.
Performance
the Zero SR/S is powered by a permanent-magnet, single, air-cooled, motor that produces 110 horsepower(82 kW @ 5,600) and 190 nm of torque. The motor is connected with a 14.4-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack that offers a claimed 260 kilometers of range in the city or 130 kilometers on the highway at a sustained 113 kilometers (70 mph). The combined rating is 175 kilometers (109 miles).
Zero SR/S has no gear or transmission and SR/S features a belt-style direct rear-wheel final drive, bike offers quiet, maintenance-free operation. The SR/S offers a variable regenerative braking system, and electric bike electronics also allow for user-manual selectable power options and torque levels, and many things.
the SR/S is outfitted with the class-leading Cypher III+ Operating System that orchestrates all the motorcycle’s subsystems into a seamless and transformational riding experience as well as grants access to the Cypher Store where on-demand upgrades for the SR/S are available with the tap of a finger.
Brakes
Zero’s electric bike suspension is historically been a bit of a weak point, but this time certainly not the case with the SR/S. Zero uses Showa’s folks and uses the 43-millimeter Big Piston fork, which offers to the bike full adjustability for rebound and compression. It also has a 40-millimeter adjustable Showa mono-shock at the rear side.
The Zero SR/S’ brakes come from a relatively Standard company in the US J.Juan. after the dual, cleverly mounted, four-piston calipers up front do a very clever work of clamping down on the 320-millimeter discs, mainly when used in combination with the bike’s regenerative brakes. The rear brake is a single-piston and clamps a 240-millimeter disk. Bosch ABS is standard on the front and rear sides.
The powertrain is perfectly distributed, resulting in a weight-optimized/mass-centralized design, while a dual radial front brake system makes shedding speed as exhilarating as building it.
Display
The Zero SR/S is the world’s first fully “smart” motorcycle. Cypher III+ unlocks a store of performance upgrades. A customizable dash and Zero’s next-generation app connection also allow riders and motorcycles to communicate critical information anytime and anywhere.
The new American electric two-wheeler touring sports bike. all the high-tech bells and whistles one would expect on a modern electric bike. The ZERO SR/S boasts a number of tech features like a GPS navigation system with a TFT screen also clears all the time thanks to day and night display modes, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and real-time vehicle diagnostics.
also, system software enables it to receive over-the-air updates, full LED lighting throughout, and a Zero Next Gen app that allows users to locate and book charging, The bike is on offer with a mobile app for remote customization. Nothing here is egregious, or even not useable, really, but it could be better.
Body
Inspired by cutting-edge aerospace design, the look of the SR/S is rooted in its aerodynamic fairing. Like all things Zero Motorcycles, form follows function. The Zero SR/S hardware is primarily made up of top-shelf parts. The machine’s chassis, sub-frame, and single-sided swing-arm are supposedly a first for a made locally. Built on an aluminum frame, the bike rides on 43mm USD front forks and a gas-charged mono-shock unit at the rear of the bike. It comes to a halt using 320mm dual-disc brakes at the front side and a single 240mm disc at the rear side.
The bike also features a dual-channel ABS system and regenerative braking as a standard all-production model. The 17-inch wheels come wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso III radial tires 120-section at the front and 180-section at the rear side.
Charging
ZERO SR/S 14kWh Li-ion, (liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery) modular battery pack with integrated high-power SDI cells. In addition to offering a claimed city range of just under 250 kilometers, and a highway range of 90 to 150 kilometers at 113 Km per hour, the SR/S battery pack can be 80 percent charged in just 1 hour 30 minutes when using a 6kW DC- charger, or 4 hours 30 minutes from a regular 6A home wall charger. The battery also comes with a five-year warranty. Additional range and battery capacity can be attained with a Cypher Store upgrade to unlock up to 17.3 kWh.
